Joint Neutral Consultation
Providing a safe space for couples to understand their options for the future.
My Role
Joint neutral consultation is a joint meeting between couples considering separation or divorce and a neutral family law professional like myself.
This meeting is intended to provide legal and logistical information – not legal advice – about the options available to separating couples. It is an opportunity to ask questions about the separation process, but is not the time for decisions or negotiations.
I offer this 90-minute consultation for a flat-fee, either in-person or virtually.
Why Choose Joint Neutral Consultation?
It can reduces fear and stress: This isn’t a divorce proceeding but instead a focused discussion to educate couples on the realities of separation and divorce and the options available to move forward.
It’s straightforward: Both parties hear the same information at the same time.
It’s cost-effective: Couples are equipped with accurate information from the start to assess their situation and desired outcome, avoiding miscommunication or misdirection that can cause unnecessary costs and delays.
