Separation Agreements
Separation agreements allow couples to resolve legal issues without having to go to court. Together, we will decide the best way to negotiate terms of this important agreement, whether it’s traditionally, collaboratively, or through mediation.
If you have already been able to work out terms of separation on your own, I can draft an agreement based on your mutually agreed-upon decisions. In all cases, I pay close attention to financial disclosure on both sides to ensure the settlement is fair.
Uncontested Divorce
An uncontested divorce is a simple, inexpensive process for obtaining a divorce order for couples that have resolved their issues in a separation agreement, or have nothing to resolve.
You’ll need to have been separated for at least one year, and at least one of you must be living in Ontario for the past 12 months. The process is online, with no court appearance needed.
